KYC is an acronym for "know your client" and, prior to accepting any engagement from you we are bound by law, under anti-money laundering regulations, to get to know you better. The detailed provisions of these requirements are set out here.

Therefore there is certain information that you must provide to us, and documentary evidence that you must furnish, that confirms that you are who you say that you are.

To do this you must complete our Customer Due Diligence Form and provide the relevant documentary evidence described below.

The general requirements are:

• certified copy of passport or provisional or full driving licence
  (i) read the notes very carefully - for example the required "statement" is often omitted...
  (ii) a certified copy means a photocopy of the pages with your photograph, personal details and signature on it together with the statement "it is a true copy of the original," written by your bank manager/official, your accountant, your solicitor or a police officer and clearly indicating his/her position or capacity on it. Please ensure that you get a good copy of your picture.
• AND an original and recent rates, council tax or utility bill.
  (i) the bill name and address details must tie in with the permanent residential address details on the form you complete.
  (ii) mobile phone bills are not acceptable.
• OR a recent bank statement
  (i) again - name and address details must be consistent - if you wish to tear off the transactions for privacy please ensure that the name, permanent residential address and account details remain.
• Age
  (i) we consider a "recent" utility bill or bank statement to be less than 3 months old.

If you have already registered then the form will be pre-filled based on your registration details if you log in. However, please review and complete the both pages of the form and obtain the necessary documentation and forward them to us at the address above.
